Kendrick Lamar’s GOOD KID M.A.A.D CITY sets a record of  “Longest Charting Hip-Hop Studio Album”

American rapper Kendrick Lamar, released an album in October 2012, titled “Good Kid M.A.A.D City”, and it has been on the Chart ever since, according to Chart Data. The album has spent almost 400 weeks on the chart.

This does not come as a surprise because the album won him 4 Grammy Nominations and contains hits which include “B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe”, “Swimming Pools” & “Poetic Justice” which featured Drake.

The Album won the BET Hip Hop Award for Best Album of the Year &  Soul Train Music Award for Album/Mixtape of the Year. Some people on social media say this is the album that made Kendrick Lamar “Kendrick Lamar”.
